Fotogrāfiju es atklāju diezgan vēlu – 20 gadu vecumā, pateicoties mammai, kas nejaušības pēc pie manis atstāja savu veco fotoaparātu Zenit.

Tā pamazām es sāku bildēt puķītes un zvēriņus, līdz kādā jaukā brīdi sapratu, ka mans īstais talants un aicinājums ir akti un portreti…

Esmu pateicīga vecajam Zenitam, jo tas man pavēra durvis uz citu pasauli – pasauli, kur es varu apstādināt laiku, kur es varu spēlēties ar gaismu un tumsu – varu darīt neiespējamo…

I discovered photography rather late in my life – at the age of 20. It happened thanks to old photo camera named “Zenit” which my mother left in my place by mistake.

So I started slowly taking photos of flowers and animals, until I realised that my real talent and calling is nudes and portraits.

I am very grateful that old “Zenit” for opening doors to a different world – the world where I can stop the time, where I can play with darkness and light – where I can do impossible…
